SEASON DATES

Archery Elk and Deer: The first Saturday of September through Mid October
Fall Black Bear, Moose, Sheep & Mountain Goat (Archery and/or Rifle):
September 15 through November
Rifle Elk and Deer (Bows also allowed): The last week of October through November
Spring Bear (Archery and/or Rifle): April 15th through May 15th

GUIDED HUNTING RATES

Fall Combination Hunts: All hunts are combo Elk & Deer with other species included at no additional charge if licenses are purchased or drawn.

ELK, DEER, MOOSE, SHEEP & MOUNTAIN GOAT HUNTING RATES

$605 per day for 1 guide : 1 client (7 day hunt = $4235)

$555 per day for 1 guide : 2 clients (7 day hunt = $3885 per person)

     Party Rates (3 or more):

$505 per day per person for parties of 3 (7 day hunt = $3325 per person)

$455 per day per person for parties or 4-6 (7 day hunt = $3185 per person)

Note: Hunting rates are based on 7 day hunts. Rates increase for hunts under 7 days. Extra hunting days available at reduced rates.

License Deadlines: For a guaranteed license for elk and deer hunts, you must apply by March 15th. Surplus tags may be available. Licenses for moose, sheep and mountain goat are by lottery draw with a deadline of May 1st.

Deposits & Payments: All bookings for elk and deer hunts prior to January 1st of the hunt year require a 25% initial deposit with another 25% due between January 1st and January 15th of the hunt year. Bookings after January 1st of the hunt year require a 50% deposit. Balance is due upon arrival (no personal checks accepted for balance payment). Deposit is non-refundable. Clients who terminate their hunt early, for whatever reason, will not receive a refund for remaining days.

SPRING AND FALL BEAR HUNTING RATES

$380 per day for 1 guide : 1 client (5 day hunt = $1800)

$330 per day per person for 1 guide : 2 clients (5 day hunt = $1650 per person)

     Party Rates:

$300 per day per person for parties of 3 (5 day hunt = $1500 per person)

$280 per day per person for parties of 4 (5 day hunt = $1400 per person)

Note: Hunting rates are based on 5 day hunts with extra hunting days available.

License Deadlines: Licenses are guaranteed if purchased prior to the start of either the spring or fall bear season. Bear ID test required by Montana Fishing, Wildlife and Parks prior to license purchase.

HUNT FROM YOUR OWN CAMP RATES

Silver Bow Outfitters operates two top-of-the-line, fully equipped, private camps from which you can hunt unguided.

Drive-To Camp:

$1250 per week per person (2 to 7 people)

Discounts available for parties of 5-7 people

Pack-In Camp:

$1450 per week per person (2 to 6 people)

Discounts available for parties of 5-6 people

License Deadlines: All parties booking camps must obtain their licenses prior to booking. Note: Montana has a preference system for parties applying for elk & deer licenses on their own.

Silver Bow Outfitters is happy to pack your animals from where they are harvested to camp for an extra $250 per elk and $125 per deer. Packing of harvested game from camp to trailhead is included in camp rates.
