Silver Bow Outfitters now offers horseback riding and hiking trips in the Cabinet Mountains and Cabinet Mountain Wilderness in Northwest Montana. Our Montana pack trips use horses schooled in mountain trail riding and are carefully selected for our Ranch. We use new and well-maintained equipment.
On our wilderness horseback rides in this area of Montana, we often see no one. The awesome Montana beauty that surrounds you will give memories to last a lifetime. You will enjoy striking views of wide open vistas and ride through lush, dense virgin timber land stopping only to cool yourself in clear, rushing streams. On sub-alpine slopes, you’ll find native bear grass and huckleberry bushes interspersed with small stands of sub-alpine fir and western hemlock trees, while in the high alpine basins, you’ll see pristine mountain lakes surrounded by jagged peaks.
We offer our clients summer Montana horseback riding trips and hiking trips based out of our, fully equipped back-country camps surrounded by the beauty and serenity of the Cabinet Mountains and Cabinet Mountain Wilderness. You can choose your method of transport, either hiking in with pack horses carrying your gear or carrying your own gear by backpack or via horseback, riding in with saddle packs.
Our Montana horseback riding and hiking trips can be arranged from 2 to 7+ days with all equipment and food provided for you. Summer horseback trips are a minimum of 4 days & 3 nights. We require a 2-person minimum with discount rates available for Families of 4 or more.
We are happy to arrange pickup from Glacier International Airport in Kalispell for an additional charge of $250 per person which includes:
- Transfer from airport to our ranch
- Dinner your first night, nights stay, breakfast the following morning, prior to trip.
- Dinner on your last night, nights stay, breakfast the following morning, after trip.
- Transfer from ranch to airport
